I had a problem with rust colored reef flatworms. I've tried pumping them out, starving them out and even sinking all the coral and rocks. They didn't give in, or when they did, they came back even stronger. After using Flatworm Exit I definitely have another tool to deal with them. The first dose was definitely effective at killing. However, I followed the directions and as soon as I saw the flatworms died I added the charcoal back to the tank. The flatworms stopped dying almost immediately and I had a few dozen live flatworms along with all the eggs. A week later I dosed again to try to kill the remaining adults and the juvenile, but the flatworms were almost out of phase. I did a second dose of 50% the instructions say what to add but it didn't help. The product did not affect the corals and fish at all and since I added a lot of carbon they were not affected by the toxins released by the flatworms either. I don't know why the treatment was ineffective the second time, but I will definitely try again.
