I used it on a weekend trip. I was on a crowded campsite and didn't feel like leaving my tent in the middle of the night to go all the way to the toilet, but you can't just get out of your tent either because there wasn't much privacy. So if you can take the time to make sure you position it correctly and you have room to maneuver in your tent, it will work as intended. No leakage - if you are a woman - make sure you position it correctly and not the other way around. If you do all this, I haven't experienced any leaks. I only needed it for a weekend but I've used it several times, once with a bag and then with bottles. it gets brighter each time and was functional enough for a casual overnight stay.
