Completely vague instruction that basically says throw as much as you want. There are so few of these beads in the pack that you don't want to use too many or too few, so you just have to find out. And adding it directly to the detergent makes a difference when you need to use bleach. Couldn't it have been added towards the end to get the real flavor?
