Review on Saddle U Bolt Muffler Coating Multiple by Alvaro Delic
Nominal and actual dimensions differ
If I were to order this as a muffler clamp that would be great. However, I ordered it for a different application and found that the nominal 1 1/4 is actually about 1 3/8. The bolt center spacing is 1.77" and the bolt size is 5/16. I sent them back and ordered a 1 1/8 which fit my application perfectly. Excellent service from After Market Auto. I hope this helps someone else who is is looking for an "off-label" application.
