I ended up returning this item. It didn't have a volume control, I could only control the volume from my phone. It had a short battery life. Charged for a very long time. The sound quality was a bit unclear. I installed it on a counter in the bathroom in place of the shower itself. I was hesitant to place it too close to the water as the small flap covering the battery/cable port was difficult to fit tightly for a secure fit. I wanted to like it.
