Still not gag proof
I got this because my 16 month old stuffs everything down his throat. Rough. It's no different, and the pink TBH spoon looks a little disconcerting. Overall it's probably a good spoon for younger kids, but for now I'll have to stick with palm-sized utensils (robbers, etc.).
