FYI, for those looking for replacement bulbs for a 10 year old 240v GE Advantium. These lamps work in both bright and dimmed modes. They appear to be a bit brighter than the original (old) bulbs, but that may be a question of age. The light is definitely blue. I'd prefer a more natural color temperature, but they get the job done - brighter, darker/fuller, more energy efficient (maybe it doesn't matter depending on how GE powers that circuit). I don't know how long they will last. . up to about a week. If they die in less than 6 months I will update this review.
