Great replacement part, best in electrical engineering

Great replacement part. Fits on my carrier block just like the OEM part. It takes about 45-60 minutes to disassemble the fan/motor assembly and disconnect the cables and then reassemble. Just make sure you take photos of the wiring to the relay and capacitor before you start. Speaking of which, it probably makes sense to replace the capacitor while you're at it. The only difficulty was removing the fan from the shaft of the old motor. It rusts pretty badly. I've seen several online forums recommending the use of this material called B'Laster. I found it at Home Depot for about $3. Absolutely worth every penny. I sprayed this onto the shaft and between the set screws/bolts on the fan blade assembly and within 5-10 minutes I was able to pull the fan blade out fairly easily. Otherwise you will need to use a hub puller which I do not recommend. Also, be sure to clean the fan blade assembly before installing it in a new engine and apply car wax to the blades to discourage rust. In general I am very satisfied with this spare part.
