Doesn't work very well. I figured if the included spacers don't work I have a couple of 3M VHBs that I would replace. Didn't you know the included adhesive pads are 3M VHB? This material sticks like no other. The trick is that you have to make sure the surface you stick it to is clean. I have no problem with the supplied adhesive pads, they are great. I also like the cord clips themselves. I used a wide flat 3-prong extension cord, no problem. I used a regular 2 wire lamp cord, no problem. With the 3-wire extension, it didn't quite fit the cable clamp, but that didn't make a difference due to the design of the clamp. Each clip actually contains 2 clips aligned 180 degrees apart. If you hold the clip, you will see that one side has a hole at the top and the other side has a hole at the bottom. This allows the clip to hold cables that don't fit all the way in. So as long as you can stick part of the cable into the clamp it should work just fine. They were inexpensive, the sticky pads that come with them are great, and they work as advertised.
