If like me you don't like the factory antenna (which can pick up lower garage doors, trees and rotate in the wind) this is a great replacement to improve aesthetics, durability and comfort without loss of signal quality. Applies to 2018 and 2022 Jeeps.

Boyfriend just got a Rubicon - black with red accents - and this antenna was perfect to replace the ugly antenna that was supplied with the kit. with your jeep. Inexpensive, the reception has not changed and looks great. No longer looks like a 1979 antenna trying to tune into a radio station on Jupiter. Or "Robbers 1-9" with Smokey and Bandit 😜.

Looks insecure and has excellent radio reception. For my 2005 Jeep Grande Charokee Laredo I don't know if it will fit because I had to replace the entire bearing bracket. But it fits easily with the new mount I installed. The reception is just as good as with the old stick antenna. I'll try the receive booster to see if I can get more range. Not that I need it just to look. Anyway I definitely recommend it.

I noticed that some other reviewers said that if you buy this item the reception will drop. I don't know, I live in the city, maybe it's because I have a stronger signal, but even listening to weak AM and FM stations from afar I don't have any drop in signal or power. In fact, I drove an hour and a half and heard FM stations clear as a bell. I like this item, I like the look with red details because my jeeps are red. I would buy this again.

Really like it so far even after reading some mediocre reviews. I haven't found too much or a loss of signal. There is a stretch of freeway here that runs down the valley along the river and I can now really pick up the stations I was trying to hear with a conventional aerial. The only problems I found with the signal were street buildings around town. I think some people should consider that this is for an AM/FM antenna signal, your satellite radio will tune in through a different antenna…

So far this antenna is working great. I still get great FM reception, even my HD radios pick up with no problem. I like to use brass to minimize corrosion. Some things you can do to make installation and removal easier in the future: There are 3 glands in total: 2 on the antenna itself and one on the vehicle gland. To hold the antenna together and not risk unscrewing the threads on the antenna itself, I recommend using blue Loctite, but only on the threaded connections on the antenna itself. DO
