Works as advertised but poor body quality

Overall this works as advertised and is about what you would expect for the price. It worked well with my Canon XF100 and my DSLR. The camera mount is not height adjustable, so it either fits your camera or it doesn't. My two main complaints were with the design of the clips that hold the tablet and the quality of the case. The clips don't provide enough support for the tablet and don't keep it flush with the glass. Thing is tricky. It doesn't close tightly due to the thinness of the plastic and the quality of the fasteners. The right latch is too loose and will not latch securely, while the left latch requires a lot of force to close. I contacted the company via email and they responded within a day. They sent a new cover, but there is exactly the same problem. The main reason this makes a huge difference is that the device is basically one big piece of glass. If the locks open during transport and the glass falls out, it's all over. I'm pretty sure I'll leave it at that and find a solution to keep the case closed, like maybe an elastic cord. Tablet clips are mostly a nuisance and I don't see a solution to this.
