Like everyone else I added a second small piece of Velcro on the back (not much room to work as you still have to open the battery compartment) so it doesn't swing around every time we do tried to test it. I hated programming, but I did it. I think the blue backlight when pressing the night mode button isn't as distracting as expected - the button is in an awkward spot, but it's easy to find by touch. It was the only option I could find to place a tiny night clock within reach (which only turned on when we wanted it) in our RV. The size of the time display is large enough that we can read it without finding glasses (about 1/2 inch high, which is actually quite a lot if it's within reach. Not fancy, but does what we need.
