The built-in pump inflated like a dream, super easy, super fast. The instructions said to expect the bed to lose pressure after a few hours the first time it's inflated, but I could barely see the difference. Obviously the construction is good and tight.The mattress itself is made of heavy-duty stuff. It has basic instructions printed right on it.The round knob you turn to change from Inflate to Off to Deflate is easy to overshoot to the next setting, but it does the job.I was pleasantly surprised that the mattress is a couple of inches longer and wider than a standard twin, with a little rise on the outer edge so you don't bail out onto the floor.The carrying bag is flimsy, but who cares about that.All in all, a very nice item.
