This was showing backordered when I placed my order but it arrived a few days ahead of schedule.This product seems very sturdy right out of the box. The plastic grip handle is solid and large enough to provide a comfortable hold. There was no screw hole to accommodate a stand but regular clamps should work fine if you don't have an extra hand while shooting.Take care when opening! The flexible frame is strong and has a mind of its own. Even though I am familiar with this design and was expecting it to open on its own, I wasn't ready for the force with which it opened. I had left an open knife on the counter after opening the shipping box. When the reflector frame burst open it swept the knife off the counter but fortunately didn't cause any injury or damage. Heads up!I was hoping that the reflective material would smooth out more while opened up overnight. It didn't seem to flatten out at all but I have no doubt it will still function well. It might even be a benefit to scatter and soften the light a bit.I bought this as a stepping stone to flash equipment. I'm very happy with this purchase especially given the $20 price point. I saw similar "pro level" products for 3.5x the price. Can't wait to put it into use.
