This review relates to the original L0311U marine LED flashlight with USB. A very well made product that I was happy to purchase. I installed 2 of these in our RV replacing 2 gooseneck halogen reading lights. They draw fewer amps and put out much more light than older halogen bulbs. The LED light seems warm to me. They dim, but not fully. I find their lowest setting is almost good enough for reading, while their brightest setting is great for removing a splinter or checking for a dropped contact lens (you know what I mean). Touch control button. It's not depressing. The first press turns on the dim blue light (night light) around the button. The second press turns on the light. Then a constant touch will make the light brighter or dimmer. The last press turns it off. The next time you click it, it will remember the last setting and turn on with that intensity. The construction is made of metal and has a high-quality finish. The gooseneck is stiff and does not sag even when jumping on the street. This LO301U light features a USB charging port. There is an identical model LO301 which does not guarantee you know which one you are ordering. The only downside is that it doesn't fully dim, but that's hardly an issue worthy of giving a star given the attention paid to build quality. If you are looking for a dimmable LED gooseneck reading light, look no further. A USB charging port is just the icing on the cake.
