Review on Senz Midnight Blue Automatic by Patty Yenbamroong

High functionality in an elegant and compact format

First some context. I work in a big city and I usually use a car or ferry. That means I walk through whole blocks and line up with a bag and/or backpack. In the winter or rainy season I also wear multiple layers to keep warm but also to be flexible when traversing the many microclimates in my part of the world (there can easily be a 10-20 degree difference from point A ). to point B). I used to have a large (50″ + canopy?) that folds down to about 2 feet in length. Not as long as a stick, but too long to fit in a pocket. Actually there was nothing wrong with that. with it, but it's amazing how awkward it can be to mess around with your commuter card or cash and your bag AND your big umbrella when it's raining and windy. smaller than the other) but it does its job! It's also very stylish (I bought the blue one, but there are many other colors and patterns to choose from.) And most importantly, the thing is small and fits in my pocket (when it's not wet) or I can hang it on my pocket strap attach it so I have two hands free on my daily commute. Does it protect you from the rain? in? Yes. Will it reverse when the wind really howls? No! (actually pretty cool) Will it keep your body dry if you have to walk a few blocks during a rainstorm? Oh no. It can only make a good long coat. Is it expensive? Oh well. Could you buy a fully functional umbrella cheaper? Yes, but you wouldn't look so good doing it! And indeed, other comparable umbrellas cost at least $50-$60 (if not more). This umbrella combines high-quality features in a stylish and compact format. I bought the automatic version and it sticks a little at the bottom when opening (slight shake pushes through) so I'm deducting 1 star for that. I really think an $80 umbrella should work perfectly. but i love it Yes, they have a 2 year guarantee.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Vulgarity
