If you intend to use this thing on a table then you'll probably be fine. The USB ports are a nice touch, especially for a desk. I personally use these things next to the bed and this form factor just isn't ideal. Think about how you use these things at night. Anything that isn't round where you need to align your phone is annoying for your phone to properly connect to the charger. I woke up with a phone that wasn't charging properly multiple times. It might seem trivial, but I really miss the simple round charger and you might as well miss it. This is something to consider if you like the simplicity of a simple round charger by your bed at night. Otherwise this charger works pretty well when I'm not aiming my phone in the dark. The price was really good. I love the USB ports. My plan is to go back to Best Buy to replace my old $45 charger and put it on my desk.
