We have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport that came with stock Wagner headlights. They've never been anything special - in fact, we ALWAYS have to drive with high beams on at night and nobody notices or "blinks" us. Neither my husband nor I are handy when it comes to cars, so we were a bit reluctant to buy and install them ourselves. Well, they were sent right after the purchase, we received them in four days and it took about 15 minutes to exchange them. My husband has to drive to work on a back country road and he said these headlights (low beam) are about 5 times brighter than our old high beam headlights. He also said that with high beams on, it looks like there's a big patch of daylight on the road in front of you. There is no need to adjust or balance the light level. We're curious to see how long they last, but even if it's only for a year or two, it's worth it! We will recommend them to all our friends and family. Installation on Jeep Cherokee Sport: To remove, be sure to remove the headlight bezel (2 screws above the headlight itself). You will then see a metal bracket held in place by 4 Phillips (X type) screws. You will also see screws with 2 asterisks (*); These are the beam adjustment screws and you probably don't need to touch them. However, if you need to adjust the headlights after installation is complete, be careful not to remove or remove them. After removing the bracket, pull the headlight towards you and disconnect the connector. Replace the headlight, making sure the center pin of the connector is up. Replace the bracket and frame and you're done. UPDATE: It is now March 2013 these headlights are still working and we are still very happy with them. After those 4-5 years of use, the left low beam bulb has dimmed a bit (maybe 20-25%) and the right bulb is still like new. The "high beam" of the left and right lights still looks as bright as new. When the time comes when these lamps need to be replaced we will definitely be buying them again.
