FALSE ADVERTISING! A $10 headlight is double the price!

These are NOT the features shown in the photos. Instead of PERFORMANCE HALOGEN is written on the glass. This is a crappy 35w 3200k ($10) version. Should be 55w 4000k. They position them as high-performance models that cost more than twice the price of regular H6054s. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY, THESE ARE GOOD 35 watt candles!

I'm not sure why both are torn down the middle.

Mount these headlights on a classic 1989 Dodge D150 pickup. I rarely drive more than 400 km a year. (There's more than one old truck out there) I just checked the other day and both headlights are cracked right in the middle of the glass on both lights. I can not explain why both hoses tear at the same time if there is no defect. Next time they won't pass the state exam and I'll have to replace them with something else. Not happy with the purchase.

Disappointed with headlight bulbs

They don't seem as bright as the Xtravision units I've replaced. I actually thought the XtraVision bulbs were pretty good and was really looking forward to the SilverStars' "increased clarity". And the most interesting thing is that SilverStar's lifespan is expected to be MUCH shorter than XtraVision's. 150 hours vs. 850 hours for the primary filament (low beam?) and 50 hours vs. 200 hours for the secondary element (high beam?) (see photo). All this and they cost a little more. Otherwise they…

One headlight burns out in less than 3 months

I had these Silverstars last year 2010 but gave them up when playing with the new Jagd when one or the other burned out (about 3 times per year) He had to give up Silverstar and save a few bucks. Now in 2020 I thought maybe the quality had improved and tried again. I was wrong, same problems as before. So I went back to Xtravision, which has served me well in my experience. It appears that a silver star burns brighter, which basically means a much shorter lifespan.

Good replacement for stock bulbs.

I installed a pair of these lights on a 1997 Jeep XJ Cherokee to replace the existing and not working well Wagner brand lights. It was a big improvement and not a problem. The light scattering in the low beam has many light and dark points in the overall light projection, but the high beam appears to be very evenly mapped. I will continue to purchase Silverstar sealed carriers for my Jeep. They typically don't last as long as regular incandescent bulbs, but they do have a brightness advantage…

  • Decent performance

  • So far so good

Low beam for 2 years three of the four headlights burned out

The lamp fit perfectly and the installation was easy. The difference between the lowest class bulbs in terms of color and brightness is very noticeable. A headlight burned out on my first pair after four years. I would recommend it and am satisfied with the fit, functionality and price. Downgraded this to 1 star after a while, this is my 4th headlight purchase in two years, give or take the first two low beam replacement series. Blown out within 2 years I replaced the last one again on January…

AMAZING so far! in bulbs

We have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport that came with stock Wagner headlights. They've never been anything special - in fact, we ALWAYS have to drive with high beams on at night and nobody notices or "blinks" us. Neither my husband nor I are handy when it comes to cars, so we were a bit reluctant to buy and install them ourselves. Well, they were sent right after the purchase, we received them in four days and it took about 15 minutes to exchange them. My husband has to drive to work on a back…
