This helped keep a 55 gallon planted aquarium lush, green and very healthy. Just don't overdo it, especially if you have freshwater shrimp. I use it with Flourish and Flourish Excel Tracing in an aquarium with densely planted cardinal tetras, guppies and cherry shrimp. I overdosed for a few weeks (my plants grew like weeds. It was great for a while). I added about a third cap of these each day, Excel and Flourish. I did a 25% water change once a week, but even then I suddenly started losing tetras and lots of shrimp. I did a 40% water change and it stopped mortality. Since then I've gone down to 1/3 full cap twice a week with each treatment. All live, plants grow well without yellowing. They're not growing like they used to when I overdosed, but that's enough. This is a very useful element if you want to grow plants. This bottle will last several months for a 55 gallon tank. if you don't use too much.
