Pros: 1. I have been using this toothbrush for 17 months now. I replaced the original AA batteries with rechargeable AA NiMh batteries (EBL available from Revain). I get about 5 months on one charge! The benefit of using rechargeable AA batteries is that you don't have to buy standard batteries every two months (as long as the batteries provided last). Also, a typical Oral B lithium battery toothbrush usually lasts me about 2 years. Then I look for a place to recycle the entire toothbrush.2. A round brush simply rotates, unlike oblong electric toothbrushes that oscillate back and forth. The circular motion makes it possible to place the brush on each tooth and get between the teeth with a slight wiggle of the device. Then tilt the brush so that it hits the gum line at about a 45 degree angle and gently work the gum around each tooth. An elongated brush that wobbles ends up pressing up and down on gums, which I've always been taught is wrong with a manual toothbrush, especially an electric one. Tip: Put a drop of toothpaste on your brush. Rub it on your teeth. Then turn on the device. As with any electric toothbrush, when you apply toothpaste and turn the brush on, the toothpaste is immediately thrown off the brush.
