UPDATE 05/11/21 Had to stop using it. The material caused a reaction in my mouth. I woke up with a strange sharp burning/irritating sensation on the back of my tongue that made me cough and vomit. I bought a diff brand, I used b4 and had no problems. This is the second time I have bought mouthguards from this brand. This is the most comfortable of all the brands I've tried. I don't have to worry about a seizure when my teeth change and I don't wear it every night. It's not a tight fit.

Ever since I've had teeth, I've been grinding my teeth at night. I even got a professional splint from my dentist many years ago. Since insurance only covers one patient (don't get me started), I've been using OTC medication for many years. So many fat and uncomfortable ones, not to mention waking up from work with sore jaw muscles that allowed for it. This product is easy to put on, thinner and more comfortable, but lasts a long time. Will definitely stick with it from here on out.

Then my cheeks started to wrinkle. Eventually it began to flake off in fibrous form and smelled very strongly, despite washing with antibacterial soap before and after each use. I'd rather spend a bit more to get something that shapes better. There are pieces of hard plastic in the area of the molars and front teeth. First you need to bring the water to a boil so it's hot enough to shape. Once formed, it will NOT be formed again. I had to do this 3 times because the water wasn't hot enough and at that point the plastic was too deformed and these hard bits were sticking out and digging into my cheek and cutting my tongue! Don't waste money.

I work hard at night. Usually chew on softer pads for a few weeks. This one is still going strong after 2 months. Molding requires a little more care, but isn't difficult. Had to rinse under hot water for an extra long time to loosen as it was very tight the first time. Definitely recommend for those who need a little more durability from their guards without paying an arm and a leg.

I have a slight deviated septum and sleep apnea because my tongue moves during sleep. This Sleep Right machine combined with nose cones provided my brain with better oxygen than a CPAP machine. You can purchase a Polydent at the Dollar Store to attach the device after molding the mouthguard using the video here. FYI, nose cones do not fall out of the nose when even a small amount of Polydent is applied. I never do product reviews, but this one can have life-changing effects for a low price.
