Works well with my Sony A6000 camera. Pros: - Provides power to the camera while leaving a USB port available for use with an intervalometer or to connect to a laptop. - Good for time lapse, astrophotography or other situations where the camera needs to be on. for a few hours, but you don't want to ruin the recording by changing the battery. - a long adapter cable so the converter box doesn't hang from your camera when using tripods: - your camera will no longer be weather resistant if you use this instead of a regular battery - although your camera won't turn off or lose power, it always can still notify you when the battery percentage is low or even when the battery has expired. It's just the most confusing/unnerving.
