I used this product (very briefly) mainly to use the midi controller with my iPad Air 3rd Ge with Lightning connector. I'm pretty sure this caused some kind of short circuit or electrical issue in the iPad, temporarily disabling the aux-out (headphone jack) and causing intermittent screen recognition issues on my touch. I believe that dual USB camera adapter was the reason because I care so much about my iPad. Some might even argue that it could be an illness, but maybe a different story for another time. However, this problem mostly did not occur until I connected this product to the iPad. I have an older iPhone model with a Lightning connector, so I decided to test the theory. But, no kidding, when I tried to connect the power supply to the adapter, something cracked / chipped / crumbled inside and it no longer works. This was the 12th day I've owned the adapter and only plugged it in for the 4th time. I may have gotten a lemon, but lemons, while usually the exception to the rest, should still be familiar I think. Personally, I would advise spending the extra cash on an Apple solution. I know the price of their products and accessories can be a hard pill to swallow, but more often than not you get just the right product with no weird glitches. In the end though.
