Well made and great for protecting our 4 year old's iPad from frequent drops. Built-in handles make it easy to carry and hold. It's soft to the touch and slightly pliable so it absorbs shock. It's also relatively unobtrusive, which is great. It protects the screen itself from touches and splashes, but doesn't make it shockproof. But I agree with that due to its low profile. As he is 4 years old and handles him very carefully, our main concern is protection from falls, not protection from smashing the screen. We used to have a real childproof case, but it was too heavy and bulky and you had to open it to charge. It has all the buttons and ports available in the case. For your information. The strap is not designed to be worn over the shoulder - it is short and designed to hang from the back of a car seat so it can be seen while driving. Our kid has it on his lap so we don't use a strap. Good product and still does the job - been using successfully for several months.
