Review on ☕ 16 oz Zojirushi Black Matte Stainless Steel Mug by Danny Crowder

I bought this mug because some insulated travel mugs from the "big coffee chain" started leaking terribly after a short time. time of use. I researched many different mugs and finally settled on this one, and overall I'm happy with its performance: it's airtight and keeps my coffee hot all day. Here are my pros and cons: PROS: - keeps hot drinks hot all day! No kidding, I make coffee and pour it around 7am before work. If I have any coffee left at 4:00 am, it's still quite warm. Other mugs I've cooled down after 2-3 hours - the lid closes so it doesn't accidentally spill when I'm carrying multiple items - the lid is sealed. I have other cups and they drip and go and ruin papers and clothes and other things. This cup doesn't leak even when I turn it upside down (I only did this to test leak claims. I don't drink coffee upside down). CONS: My main complaint is the build quality of the lid. I take care of my belongings and have never dropped my cup. After a few months of ownership the inner ring of the lid broke and wouldn't close or close properly. I tried to adjust it and then everything broke in half. I emailed requesting a warranty replacement as I was within the warranty period. The company said only the vacuum cup was covered and I would have to buy a replacement lid. Luckily I kept my silicone pads as they have to be purchased separately. These replacement parts aren't cheap, but it was cheaper than buying a whole new cup. I was annoyed but I made the purchase because I like it and it doesn't expire. As mentioned, the paint started cracking in various places on my mug. I don't scold my mug at all, so I was surprised to see the paint peeling off. If you buy this mug I think you will be satisfied with its work. The quality is questionable and the warranty does not meet my expectations. Be very careful how you handle it as it is not the most durable of devices. I'm still looking for a better mug but for now this keeps my coffee hot and it's good enough for now.
