EDIT: When I upgraded to the Blue Yeti that came with the Compass II arm I put the Innogear hand aside. Literally a couple of months later, the compass collapsed - its hinge adjustments are plastic and could not withstand the tension of the spring. I mounted the Yeti and its shock on an Innogear arm and it works BETTER than Blue's own arm, keeps my Yeti where I want it and saves $80. Great offer. The kit contains exactly what is shown in the picture: a microphone arm with table clamp, an adapter for a standard sized microphone thread, a microphone clamp, a windscreen for Blue Snowball or Snowball Ice and a pop filter that attaches to the boom arm. A basic clip dart is typically $15, a pop filter is $10-$20 depending on quality, and a snowball windshield is $12. So you actually get a 50% discount off the retail price. The extension arm is easy to assemble, secure and adjust. I have used the included thread adapter with my snowball and have had none of the issues reported elsewhere with the threads not being tightened enough. (They include a threaded strap if you run into problems.) I've added a mic swivel that I had separately and I see no problem in placing the mic where it's convenient and easy to see, to watch me play. The Snowball is a big, heavy mic, but the boom holds everything in place with no issues. The windshield was easy to install and feels solid doesn't slip or clump, doesn't even smell badly of foam. . My stream viewers and other gamers report that it also reduced some of the echo in my game room. Cool. The pop filter is good for further enhancing the sound of your microphone. Unfortunately, I have to dock a star here. As other reviewers point out, the gooseneck on the pop filter is very flimsy and doesn't hold the filter securely in place. The clip is also a bit patchy and the whole thing started to sag with use. I finally took it off. It's also quite big and I didn't care when i tried to play I felt like it was always in the way. All in all a great stand, but if you really want a good pop screen you may need to purchase one separately. Unfortunately, I have to dock a star here.
