Excellent controller. I use it for all my retro games. Input lag is practically zero and the controller feels great in your hands. The XYAB buttons look just as amazing as they did on the first Nintendo controller. The joysticks are a bit too high for my liking, but I mostly use the SNES controller, so that's not a problem. My only complaints relate to the cross. The D-Pad sits higher on the gamepad than the actual SNES controller, which might seem a bit strange. The second complaint is that the D-Pad has a semi-gloss finish and feels too plasticky. This leads to smooth gaming sessions of 30+ minutes. The third complaint is that there have been several cases when the controller didn't register diagonal inputs. It's a shame because this controller is so expensive. Compare this cross to the M30 which is cheaper. The M30 looks amazing and the matte D-Pad is near perfect. Its diagonals are very accurate and precise. Despite all of that, it's almost impossible to beat Nintendo when it comes to their first batch of controllers. Their crosses are legendary in the industry and known for their comfort and durability. This controller compensates for its shortcomings with a wide range of applications. From SNES to SNES-style indie games to more demanding games, this controller can hold its own. However, if you are looking for a controller exclusively for SNES games, I would highly recommend purchasing this controller, if you can't get your hands on an official SNES-style Nintendo Switch controller. That being said, just because Nintendo controllers are so amazing doesn't mean I can 100 percent recommend this controller. This controller is great, but the quality of the Nintendo controller is close to perfect. If you're looking for a controller to use for different types of games, you can't go wrong with this controller.
