I have a Samsung Note (10.1a I think) and I've hardly used it due to some serious design flaws (IMO). There's no way to hold it down without accidentally touching the screen, resulting in accidental link clicking, window closing, etc. All software solutions to this problem are ineffective or painful, so I ended up only using my tablet to watch TV on airplanes. This wrist strap effectively solves most of those issues, so I can now use my tablet for things like reading e-books and browsing the web like I originally intended. I bought another case for my tablet (which only covers the back and sides) as it's obviously not designed for regular folding cases. It even fits well over the case and allows you to comfortably hold the tablet with one hand.
