Review on 💜 Maytex Sylvia Printed Faux Silk Fabric Shower Curtain in Purple - 70x72 Inches: Elegant & Durable Bathroom Decor by Matthew Bell

I have had other Maytex shower curtains and am happy with them; Unfortunately, this did not meet my expectations. The design is very pretty and the translucency of the material lets in some nice light but unlike my other Maytex shower curtains, with this particular shower curtain you MUST use the plastic insert even with the flexible stem removed from the tub. . That was the first disappointment - all the other six fabric shower curtains we use regularly (not all Maytex) work great without the liner and water doesn't get through. I hung mine unironed straight out of the box, assuming that the creases would fade with the shower/bath humidity, as my fabric shower curtains tend to do. Not so. A month later, it's as crumpled as it was out of the box. I'm not picky about these things, but these wrinkles are very noticeable. So I paid more for this shower curtain than other similar curtains, and on top of that I had to buy a sheer lining (which I really don't like). use). Also, it's wrinkled and needs to be taken out and ironed (which I don't want to do yet). Needless to say I will not be buying another Maytex shower curtain.
