Purchased in advance. Note 9 came before it. Everything was to my liking, but I had hoped for a quantum leap in performance, speed, and dependability with the release of the 10th Note. Yet sadly, it turns out to be a letdown. Obviously not finished, but also not up to par with what was promised. One major drawback is that the phone has frozen up on the user multiple times while accessing the Secured Folder or Gallery. All my hopes are pinned on the fact that this is just some sloppy firmware and can be fixed quickly. Before that, the entire duration of ownership of the 8th and 9th Notes was completely problem-free (a year for each). It's annoying that the phone's indicators aren't on the front anymore. Presently, only the "Always on" option is worthwhile; it displays reminders of upcoming activities that might otherwise be missed. Unfortunately, the fingerprint scanner is not reliable. I implemented facial recognition, and it functions splendidly. Not that loud of a vibro-call, even at full volume. While geo-location may be turned off at any time, the battery still dies rather quickly (it eats up the charge the most).
