I spontaneously ordered these speakers as they seemed pretty cheap at $300. I bought them for $120 which felt like a bargain to me. As described, they are noticeably boosted in the bass and treble ranges, which is what I wished for for the music I listen to. Bass is punchy and fairly low for the size of the driver, the front bass port helps in that regard. High frequencies sometimes get harsh when listening to some tracks where female vocals pronounce the "s" sound. With some songs it borders on noise. The same emphasis on high frequencies makes things like hi-hats sound very appealing. The only downside is that my right speaker's vinyl packaging has some minor imperfections and imperfections, which I can forgive for the price, but that really worries me. one piece. The left speaker is built fairly well, with no discernible mounting issues. In summary, for under $200 these are great sounding speakers that offer a great music experience geared towards more modern music. They don't compare to my Infinity Reference R162 in sheer sound quality, but they can be used on a desk while being much better enjoyed further away.
