I spontaneously ordered these speakers as they seemed pretty cheap at $300. I bought them for $120 which felt like a bargain to me. As described, they are noticeably boosted in the bass and treble ranges, which is what I wished for for the music I listen to. Bass is punchy and fairly low for the size of the driver, the front bass port helps in that regard. You've probably seen the rave reviews online and thought this is a great speaker set. They sound really great for this price range. But I was unpleasantly surprised, as the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. Very bad. In this case, there is no quality control.
