Review on Pair of Jamo S 803 Walnut Speakers by Jacob Fish

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality in everything: home audio

They are a real eye-catcher in white, with or without grilles, which are magnetic by the way. These are the first Jamos I have ever owned and I am very happy with my purchase. I rarely buy commercial speakers as I'm usually more of a fan of DIY speakers when it comes to speakers, not just as a hobby but as a way to get more bang for your buck. The reviews, retail price and looks were enough to convince me to click the Add to Cart button and I'm glad I did. After some break-in period I did an A/B comparison with some other speakers I had at home. Some could match in low-frequency reproduction, but almost nothing matched them in overall purity. They are very balanced in their frequency range and do not discolor or distort the sound to any appreciable extent. In combination with an amplifier/DAC (in my case the Sabaj A4) they are the perfect alternative to a soundbar. Great voice quality for shows and movies and great music while you look great.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
