I was a bit skeptical when I bought it. I knew that KZ made IEMs on a decent budget, but was surprised when they sold hybrid Bluetooth headphones for $30. The price was right and I bought them on a whim, partly to test out the Bluetooth headphone craze. In the beginning it was pretty bad. On the second day the metal rod popped out when I wanted to change the nozzle. However, after putting it back in place, I have never had a part fall out in the four months that have passed since I bought it. The use of the device has always been excellent for me. I use them exclusively with my Samsung Galaxy S10e and they connect automatically every time. Playback pause is good, and audio quality and latency are as good as my sisters' AirPods. I used them during a workout and they are slow to pop out of your ear, but a gentle push snaps them back into place. Although they should be perfect for hiking. Battery life is about a week for me, I probably get 10-12 hours on a suitcase charge, which is good considering I used it fairly heavily for 4 months. uncomfortable to run, my initial issues with build quality and switching devices which can be an issue. I've also had times where they started failing, but putting them back in their case and taking them out fixes the problem, and it's happened less than 10 times in four months. Overall, if you're looking for a pair of budget wireless earbuds, I'd go with these. this. They're a well-known brand, sound good, work well, and can be had for around $30.
