Great quality for this price! - Updated

My daughter and I are going to have our first diving experience together and we wanted to document our trip. We both wanted an action camera but didn't want to pay for two GoPros. So she got a GoPro 7 Black and I got an Akaso Brave 7 LE. Although there are slight differences in image/video quality between GoPro and Akaso, I prefer Akaso. I tested both at 1080p30 because that setting offers the best battery life for a GoPro. Video quality was very good on the Akaso, but the GoPro was a bit sharper. But for the price of Akaso, I can live with Akaso's video quality. I also noticed that the Akaso's battery life was much better. You also get two batteries and a charger included. An additional GoPro battery and charger requires an additional $35. I love that for $139 I got a great camera, lots of accessories including a dive box! (I had to pay extra to get a GoPro dive bag.) So far I love the Akaso Brave 7 LE and would recommend it to anyone looking for an entry-level action camera! 08/24/20 - My daughter and I. We just embarked on our second dive trip to practice our skills at Lake Denton in Sebring, Florida. Again, she brought her GoPro 7 Black and I took the Akaso Brave 7 LE. The depth in this lake was greater than on our first dive. At 45ft the red light is filtered out so I thought it would be perfect for testing the Akaso's true dive setup capabilities. My daughter doesn't have a red filter for her Go Pro so I compared her regular videos/images to Akaso with the immersive setting enabled. To be honest, the colors on the Go Pro were a lot brighter than on the Akaso with the Immersive setting enabled. However, Akaso's images were still sharp and clear. I just had to add the red with my video editing software. Just an extra step I'm willing to take due to the price difference between Akaso Brave 7 LE and Go Pro 7 Black. Akaso is easy to use, even in a dive box. The battery life is even longer with Akaso. And I have pictures/videos to document our dive!
