Vol +/- not working on Android

The product is supposed to work on Apple and Android, but it doesn't. On my Android phone, only the Stop/Play button worked, not the Vol +/- buttons. I returned them. These here work for all three buttons on an Android phone (Huawei) and a Mac laptop (which I think should mean they work on the iPhone): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ B08Y6MBJDH
