This might be good for basic gym use. I took it as a real day hike on a difficult rock. Oh boy. If you zoom in on the seat belt, you'll see a few black buckles with no padding. If you fall, they dig into your skin. When your partner falls, they dig into your skin. When you dismount/dismount, they dig into your skin. Needless to say, I ended up with painful bruises by the end of the day. This was independent of proper sizing and customization setting. The buckle position is just wrong and digs into the skin no matter how you adjust the leg loops. Luckily I bought it from a local REI and was able to replace it with something suitable.
