Fuchsia not Colorfast in clear water-based acrylic, love other colors

I bought a sample size of this brand’s extra chunky rose-gold glitter, and loved it. I used it in Sophi brand’s clear Shine Topcoat nail polish, which has:Ingredients Shine Topcoat: Water, Acrylates Copolymers, Polyethylene, Neem Oil(It’s a non-toxic brand of nail polish, with no harsh solvents. It doesn’t stay on the nail long, but it also doesn’t have harsh chemicals found in most nail polish, and no awful odor.)The rose-gold color glitter did great…didn’t bleed or leak dye or anything. So I went ahead and bought this in the Fuchsia Pink, for the same purpose. Specifically because I was looking for glitter this color that wouldn’t leak dye or bleed, and wouldn’t stain the nail bed pink. But this performed just as poorly as my cheep-o brand glitter in this color! This still leaked dye, turning the clear base Topcoat bright pink, and not only that…the dye transferred through the dry layers of colored polish beneath, and stained the nail bed! It stains the nail bed whether or not you put it directly on the nail, or on top of other nail polish layers, if you have the polish on for a couple days or more.I know that it’s *possible* to have glitter this color that stands up inside clear nail polish without leaking…I have a cheap $1.99 bottle of nail polish with this color of glitter in a clear base, that I was trying to re-create in the non-toxic Sophi polish. But despite the promises, this one didn’t do it. It makes me worry how reliable this company’s other claims are about their glitter. That said, I am keeping and enjoying their holographic extra chunky rose-gold glitter, and their holographic silver moons and stars glitter. Neither one of these have bled or leaked dye, and they look great as a nail polish top/clear coat.I’m returning the holographic gold ultra-fine glitter I also ordered. It’s a pretty color in person (that’s really hard to capture in a picture), but I don’t want to open a whole big bag & risk it leaking dye like the fuchsia pink did.I’ve included a picture of the microfine holographic gold bag next to some golds of another cheap brand of craft glitter, for comparison. (And the sample size of extra-chunky rose gold is in the picture, too.) The holographic gold is a hint more orange-y than the other golds, but my picture also doesn’t do justice to the lovely balance of different sparkly hues that the holographic gold color has in real life. If I wasn’t worried about dye leak, I’d keep it.I’ve also included a picture of the Extra Chunky Fuchsia Pink painted on a nail (still wet), to show size & how much it leaked dye.And lastly, I’m including a picture of the holographic silver stars & moons painted on a thumb nail. It requires several extra clear coats on top, to get them to stick to the nail. But they look great. Being holographic, it catches the light with different colors at different angles. Very pretty.Just a note: The extra-chunky holographic rose gold is perfect paired with a smaller grain glitter in pink, gold, or copper (my favorite). It is really pretty like that straight on the nail, and also pretty as a top coat over almost any other color of polish. It’s a color that goes with pretty much everything.I think the sample size bags of Hemway glitter are in a separate amazon listing. Just pay attention to if they have shipping costs. Some colors/sizes do & some don’t…so some end up being cheaper to order a big bag, rather than the sample size.
