Not at all like chalk paint

Having painted hundreds of pieces, I was attracted to anything in some aspect of this color. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like chalk paint at all. It has a rubbery latex feel and takes forever to dry between coats. I'm on the 4th layer and still have poor opacity (see photo). If you are looking for a matte finish with a soft finish I would not recommend this product.
