A good product. Fits Luggage Rack Accessories

I am writing this review to include information that I would have liked to know but did not have at the time of purchase. The usable area of the "flat" part of the curve is only about five centimeters. Also, the only hardware included in the kit is for people to insert into drywall. So if you're going to insert them into wood, be prepared to drill a 1/4" hole (it's bigger than it looks). That means you'll need an electric drill and a drill bit to install it directly into the wood. Once…

Ideal for dry stone walls. Great big coat hook.

My wife wanted big hooks on the sides of her closet to hang clothes on hangers. Typical coat hooks were too small. She wanted to hang lots of hangers on it. These hooks were perfect for this purpose. I used one on each side of the closet. I mounted them to hollow drywall using a hand screwdriver. They attach easily and feel secure. Extra deep thread for a firm hold on drywall without stripping. Please note each hook weighs 20 pounds. when used in hollow plasterboard. (£40 for a pair of hooks…

Easy Install, Use Laundry Room

I bought these hooks because I was tired of the dryer lying on the floor when I wasn't using it. I had a small free space on the wall in my laundry room and decided to hang these hooks so I can hang my dryer when not in use. The hooks are rated for 40-70lbs, my dryer isn't that heavy so I won't really put them to the test but I can say they will definitely hold my dryer with no issues. I installed it myself in drywall with no bolts. The process is very simple, you will need a screwdriver and a…

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER

Tornado Hook - AMAZING! As far as I know these are the strongest hooks on the market. Not only are they incredibly durable and strong, but they are also clean and attractive. HOWEVER - BUY FROM ANOTHER SELLER. The hooks I received are genuine Tornado hooks but they have clearly been used and they did not come with the correct Tornado mounting screws. . The seller included regular drywall anchors that do not fit or even match these hooks. The Tornado Hook is said to come with proprietary Tornado

Revain excels in its browser community

Revain excels in its browser community. They make it easy to determine if a product is worth buying, along with all the pros and cons. Nevertheless, I bought this ladder hook because of the Amazon community. I have a few ladders that are very light and clunky, heavy and rarely used, but when I do, the Little Giant ladder is really heavy. These hooks work fantastically and will easily secure even the heaviest little giant ladder to the wall. They are easy to install and the included screws are…

Sounds better than others

I used to hang a lot of things on the walls. Shelves, closet organization, TVs, etc. etc. In general, I never mount anything in drywall just behind the wall without a stand or block. I had a very specific case where I needed to mount in drywall and needed a long hook weighing about 10 pounds. This product is specifically designed to be used with the included Tornado Anchors. If you can figure out how to use other fasteners (the holes are larger than the head of a typical drywall screw), there's

Okay, but slightly better mounting hardware could have been used.

We hung a 21 foot Small Giant Skyscraper on these hooks. You have no problem with the weight of the stairs. The hooks themselves are decent quality - rubber coated hooks with a metal mount (aluminum or other metal pot I think). The only thing that bothers me is the mounting hardware. They come with a hybrid piece for drywall and wood. That's probably enough, but I ended up using some 3" wood screws instead of the hardware that came with the kit to attach the hooks. Most of this hardware comes…

Looks like it's only suitable for drywall

The mount itself seems strong enough to hold up my stairs. I have a fiberglass extension ladder that is about 12 feet long when folded (so maybe 18 or 20 feet when extended). The supplied screws are short and unusually wide. This and the number of fasteners per bracket (3) tells me that the fastening system is only suitable for drywall connection. The included fasteners will attach to bare studs but will not adhere well to them if there is drywall. My garage has drywall. I wouldn't even…

These hooks are the largest. I have a small garage and don't like messy floors. So I try to hang things up. I already have a few of these hooks holding my blower, luggage, holiday door decorations, etc. What's really great is that they're incredibly easy to install. Simply take a screwdriver (an electric one works best, but any screwdriver will do), screw in the screws and hang the curtain. I use them on drywall; on a hairpin it may not be so easy. But you can hang 40 pounds of drywall, which…
