It's heavy But the rails are too short, seven hangers are included but the rails are 24", the brackets to install are 2 1/2" each, 19 total " there is not enough space on the left rail for bracket placement. In my opinion, the rails should be at least 4ft and 3ft long, or they should offer 3 different sets: small, medium, large.

We bought this to store our garden tools - installation was easy and the tool rack is very solid as all the components are metal. The different sized hangers offer flexibility for the types of tools you want to store and are the perfect width - we were able to store shovels, rakes, brooms and a few extension cords.

This is a great addition to our garage for keeping our tools organized. It's strong and holds a lot of weight/tools, but if you place the holders properly and then hang the tools, there isn't as much space as I thought. I am happy with it and would buy it again. Just keep in mind that your rakes and shovels (wide at top) will take up more space than you think—unless you're creative about stacking your tools.

Great except for 1 big thing. You really need to mount to a board or whatever you have attached to the studs as you can only get 2 of the 8 stud screws which are usually 16 inches apart. The mounting holes in each number 4 bracket are spaced about 2 inches or so apart. Horizontal 1 will always be the most common hairpin. This is a solid product and I love how easy it is to move the hooks along the rails. Those are the only good things. The rails are too short for the number of hooks included. To make matters worse, the rail mounts are not designed for the standard 16-inch spacing from the wall studs. So I had to hang 2x4 first and then put on 2x4. Assembly was a challenge as the installation instructions were vague and no pictures were provided. later so I should have read the review that says how wide the brackets are. You will need 4 screws but as you can see if you zoom in on the images these brackets are wider than the studs in your wall so you really only use 2 screws. Another issue is that the brackets are spaced every 24 inches while the studs in my house are 16 inches.
