Sturdy as described except for the mounting screws. 2 of the hex heads broke off as I carefully and slowly turned them into bolts of equal length. Having already screwed the rest into the studs and secured almost everything, I decided it wasn't worth the trouble, time and effort. uninstall, repackage and send back practically everything. I noticed that there was enough room in the bracket's hole for a smaller screw to fit into the wood between the broken screw in the stud and the metal bracket, which was my "fix". Also, I installed this for mine on bare studs - no drywall - and since I felt these blocks were perfect for the install I mistakenly assumed I could rotate the brackets or something similar so all 4 lag bolts by arrangement were used . This was not the case. The brackets are too wide to fit all 4 bolts to the "normal" surface of the 2" wide stud. The cleats are "tough" as expected.
