Sturdy as described except for the set screws. 2 of the hex heads broke off as I carefully and slowly turned them into studs of equal length. Having already screwed the rest into the studs and secured almost everything, I decided it wasn't worth the trouble, time and effort. uninstall, repackage and send back practically everything. I noticed that there was enough room in the bracket hole for a smaller screw to fit into the wood between the broken stud and the metal bracket, which was my "fix". Also, I installed this on mine on bare studs - no drywall - and since I felt these blocks were perfect for the installation, I mistakenly assumed I could rotate the brackets or something similar to allow all 4 lag bolts would be used by scheduled date. This was not the case. The brackets are too wide to fit all 4 screws to a "normal" 2" wide rack surface. The cleats are "tough" as expected.
