I live in a small studio in Los Angeles. I have two of these fragrances. One in my bathroom and one in the rest of the studio (again, it's not big at all. Probably around 12 square meters including the bathroom), so it's about as small as my space. I don't really smell these things. Sometimes when I leave the house and come home I smell a little but not much. Also, I have right at the entrance. The place is always locked, windows closed, I thought the smell would build up but no. My mom has other scents that you can really smell. And her living room is a bit bigger than my whole apartment. Maybe it's my seat, maybe my nose, or maybe I'm lucky. but I just didn't have the experience I was hoping for. But just to be honest with the product. I had no one to comment on the smell.
