Works as described. I mounted it as close to the rear window of my SUV as possible so it wouldn't block my view. It took about three days for the suction cups to hold. I removed them from the light and still had trouble keeping them in place. I washed the window several times and put a windbreaker in the cup itself. After leaving them on the glass overnight I took them off and put them back in the light and surprisingly on terribly bumpy back roads they stuck to the window for over a week. I've used the light for several hours and nothing has burned out. I work as a mailman in the country and got this to replace the official US Post Office roof light as in the bright summer sun you can't often see the lights on the sign blinking. I will try to update in winter as I often deliver after dark. I worry they will bounce off the inside of the window and make it difficult to see behind me. It bounces off the bottom of the sunroof under the window, so I can still see the road and don't notice the flash in the rearview mirror. The suction cups are small and I partially detached the light from the glass when I clean the glass and re-wet the suction cups to reattach them. Mine fell out of the window too. I have a shelf in my SUV so it only fell a few feet rather than the ground but still works. In general I am satisfied
