Review on πŸŽ’ Maxpedition Proteus Versipack: The Ultimate Tactical Sling Bag for Versatile Performance by David Naranjo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best fanny pack I've ever had!

This case is amazing. It fits so many things and has replaced my Maxpedition Pygmy on my trips to the shop or to work when the backpack is too big to carry around. I can even pack my lunch in it! I can fit two Rubbermaid 1.3 cup jars and two 0.5 cup jars into the main compartment or into my expensive Blutooth speaker to keep out dust and moisture while playing music. The front compartment is also very spacious and offers plenty of space. Mobile phone, external battery, cable, toothpaste, toothbrush, cologne, deodorant and room for more! it may seem that everything is confusing. But well organized with inner pockets and dividers. Very good, although outside. When you need more space. It has two side pockets, another hidden pocket on the back and two front pockets for a pen or marker. If you need more space, you can use the straps to attach another Maxpedition case or Grimloc attachments. Or do like me and just attach something to the strap with a carabiner. Another cool thing is the many ways to carry this bag/bag/backpack. This is meant to be a fanny pack, but you can add a shoulder strap by hooking one to the D-rings at the top of the bag and wear it over your shoulder or across your chest like I sometimes do, or just grab the handle and carry it around. it's like a suitcase, they say. The handle is very well made and durable. Did I mention I can even roll up my windbreaker and strap it under the handle? I can go on and on about the many things I've used it for. I hope this helps you decide or ideas what to use it for. For me it was worth it.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Broadly ok, but...
