Description of 🎒 Maxpedition Proteus Versipack: The Ultimate Tactical Sling Bag for Versatile Performance

Nylon. We finish our bags with a triple coat of polyurethane for water resistance and add a final coat of DuPont Teflon Fabric Protector to repel the elements. Only the best components and designs are used. We use complete YKK zippers and slides exclusively unlike our competitors who put YKK slides on generic zippers. we add military grade nylon webbing for straps, handles, and modular attachment points. Genuine Duraflex buckles and hardware add strength and functionality. Starting with large, unseamed panels of 1000 Denier Nylon, we meticulously reinforce each stress point with composite thread. No unnecessary seams or polyester parts are used.

Good product! the best hydration packs

It took me a long time to decide to buy this product but I'm glad I finally did! I fly quite often and use it for my day trips. This makes the TSA a bit easier instead of cluttering up the bags and having to take everything off yourself. This is really a great article. Maybe the strap is a little longer? But overall it's really great! I've been buying items from Maxpedition for a long time and I'm happy to add to my collection!

Decent with one small gripe

As with all Maxpedition products you pay too much for the name. However, it's still a durable device and they're water resistant to a point. My biggest and only complaint is that the neckline is too tight given the free space in the main pocket. It's almost impossible to dig with gloves or big hands. The color is a bit different from some other bags as I put it under my Condor II and used it as a waist belt. Although the hair is split. Just note that like all Maxpedition gear, it's pretty…

Nice bike bag.

Update: 2017-09-02 Now I find the lap belt cover useful. With the strap removed, I use zip ties (sold separately) to secure the back of the bag to the front of the bike's handlebars. Works perfectly. I bought it almost 2 years ago as a pannier. I found it durable and flexible. The opening in the main compartment limits items to about an inch shorter than the length of the space, but it's perfect for snacks and juice boxes. For example, put your iPhone in one side pocket and the first aid kit in

  • High-quality workmanship

  • Some small things

Another great article from Maxpedition. This is the perfect bag size for many uses. As always, excellent quality, durable and almost indestructible. I bought this bag for a specific purpose. My Maxpedition Falcon 2 is one of my favorite bags, but it's too small for weekend trips or to use as the now famous "bug bag". A good way to solve this problem is to connect these two bags together. The Proteus backpack fits perfectly under the Falcon 2. The straps match MOLLE and can be tied tightly at…

Tactical Fannypack - Hydration Packs

I don't have a car, just a motorcycle. Transporting things on a bike is becoming much more difficult for me. I have several backpacks and they are ok. . . until summer comes and you're sweating through your shirt while your lower back is doing its best to be Florida. It wasn't fun until I got the idea to put something like this on my butt. The idea actually came to me from an anime protagonist named Renton from Eureka 7. He's a mechanic and he carries all his tools in the same backpack but…

Best fanny pack I've ever had!

This case is amazing. It fits so many things and has replaced my Maxpedition Pygmy on my trips to the shop or to work when the backpack is too big to carry around. I can even pack my lunch in it! I can fit two Rubbermaid 1.3 cup jars and two 0.5 cup jars into the main compartment or into my expensive Blutooth speaker to keep out dust and moisture while playing music. The front compartment is also very spacious and offers plenty of space. Mobile phone, external battery, cable, toothpaste…

It could be better to paste, the color is far away is good.

Everyone is talking about how great this little packaging is and I say amen to that! Everyone is commenting on how well made it is and how versatile it is, amen again! But nobody mentioned that the mount is uncomfortable and the khaki color is very different from the Maxpedition stock photos. In reality, everything looks very different! What they call khaki is a distinct moss green hue that ranges somewhere between olive and brown depending on the light. This is a wonderful surprise for me…

Mighty tick makes stuffing

Of the little things I need to take with me to take pictures. I had one of these years ago when it came out and it didn't meet my needs at all, but now it's the perfect solution to my problem. In the summer when I'm chasing storms, I carry my camera gear with me, but constantly running to the van to get the knick-knacks I need here and now is very difficult. Because of this, I lost some good shots last year. Not this year! I keep my entire lens cleaning kit in a side pocket, from the Lenspen to

Ideal everyday bag, the best in hydration packs

I needed a decent everyday bag that wasn't too bulky to carry to work or in the car. Also, I needed something that could support the weight of my gear and had a fabric strong enough to stand the test of time. This bag turned out to be very useful and met all my expectations. I can fit a charger and cords, medication, small hand tools, a driver's license, a wallet, a small medical bag that I pack up, a pad and stationery, a lighter, and my spare guns. One is my EAA revolver and the other is a…
