Another great article from Maxpedition. This is the perfect bag size for many uses. As always, excellent quality, durable and almost indestructible. I bought this bag for a specific purpose. My Maxpedition Falcon 2 is one of my favorite bags, but it's too small for weekend trips or to use as the now famous "bug bag". A good way to solve this problem is to connect these two bags together. The Proteus backpack fits perfectly under the Falcon 2. The straps match MOLLE and can be tied tightly at the bottom. It also helps because the waist belt slopes down a bit to sit on the hips. The Proteus has the best hip belt so it works really great. I also have another Proteus that I use as a first aid kit. It's the perfect size for all your essential first aid gear.
