Review on πŸŽ’ Maxpedition Proteus Versipack: The Ultimate Tactical Sling Bag for Versatile Performance by Ryan Lawson

It could be better to paste, the color is far away is good.

Everyone is talking about how great this little packaging is and I say amen to that! Everyone is commenting on how well made it is and how versatile it is, amen again! But nobody mentioned that the mount is uncomfortable and the khaki color is very different from the Maxpedition stock photos. In reality, everything looks very different! What they call khaki is a distinct moss green hue that ranges somewhere between olive and brown depending on the light. This is a wonderful surprise for me, because the khaki in the photos looks orange and bright to me, almost like a coyote brown. The true color of this khaki is much more muted than shown in the photo and I am very happy with it. . I think this feature could be much better and use the MOLLE interface instead of using the weight straps on the bottom of the Falcon II. This closure prevents access to all Proteus compartments, except for two small side pockets. It has to be taken off to access it and the weight belts don't have buckle clasps so it takes some time threading them through the loops if you need access. Pure Pain! Alternatively, it could be attached to the rear of the Falcon II using MOLLE straps, but they don't match. The Falcon II MOLLE straps are offset from the Proteus MOLLE straps by one post, making them off-center and sticking out on one side when attached to the back of the pack. So close to perfect but not a cigar. I'll live with it, but the frustration of attachment will never go away.
